This is a watercolor painting based upon an original photo as a guide. In the photo, I set up the shot with a dark background and used a focused light behind the flower and soft reflector above and to the front, The longer exposure worked out well and I later created the watercolor version.

He began his military career starting in the US Navy and retired from the US Coast Guard. He overcame challenges, when rear-ended by an 18-wheeler, and in 2019, he survived a stroke.
