This is a painting based upon an original film photo taken in the early 1980s in the New Orleans, Louisiana area. On the Westbank side of the Mississippi River, the Lapalco Bridge, had the sign warning drivers of damage caused by excessive speed. Speeders continued and I went out to capture a photo of it. Later, I did this version.
